EXCLUSIVE BEACHFRONT accommodation at Bed & Breakfast Lure Inn, Wagait Beach / Mandorah on Cox Peninsula is only 11km from Darwin (as the crow flies). Much more than a traditional B&B we welcome singles/couples and their friends (if invited) to sole occupancy of one wing of our home in a child free environment. Built on an acre of land our home was designed not only to provide guests with luxury accommodation but also to ensure high environmental standards were met. The award winning and accredited accommodation is perfect for a romantic getaway or just time out to relax and recharge.

The area offers a tranquil rural setting with fishing, beach walks, an abundance of birdlife for bird-watching, storm watching, bike riding, exploring (WWII historic sites, wetlands and coastal savannah) and a photographers dream. Located on the western side of Darwin harbour access is via Cox Peninsula Road off the Stuart Highway or by passenger ferry from Darwin’s, Cullen Bay and a door to door mini-bus service from the Mandorah Jetty.
