Located at WAGAIT BEACH B&B Lure Inn is 11.3km from Darwin CBD (in a direct line) and 130 km (approx) by sealed road. 15 minute Ferry trip from Cullen Bay to Mandorah Jetty and 5km from Mandorah Jetty. Door to door Minibus service is available from the jetty to B&B Lure Inn.
By Road
This scenic route takes you past Reidy's Lures (where you can take a tour of the factory), WWII Heritage Sites on the Stuart Highway, Berry Springs Nature Reserve, Territory Wildlife Park, Litchfield Hotel, Litchfield and Dundee Turnoffs.
Easy to find instructions: Cox Peninsula Road terminates at Wagait Beach. From Darwin - turn right (from Katherine turn left) off the Stuart Highway at the Berry Springs turn off. Follow Cox Peninsula Road to the "T" junction; turn left then right at the next "T" junction; left at Wagait Tower Road past the local convenience store; left at the next "T" junction (Cox Drive). B&B the Lure Inn is on the right just before Baluria Road (left). Watch for the sign.
By Sea Cat Ferry Service:
15 minute Ferry Trip from Cullen Bay to the Mandorah Jetty. Ferries run regularly at 2 hour intervals. Phone: 89411911 or visit: www.seacat.com.au for timetable and fares. Note: Pushbikes can be transported on the Ferry Service
Minibus Service
Mandorah Transport ph 0407 325 957. The minibus does not meet all ferry services- prior arrangements have been made.
