- Scenic Beach Walks
- Fishing. Beach & rock fishing - basic gear is available. An ideal spot to fly fish or learn to fly fish. (Tuition is available on request) Fishing Charters can also be arranged - pick-ups at Mandorah Jetty and drop-offs at Cullen Bay to link with the Ferry Service back to the Mandorah Jetty. Note: If you wish to use your own boat in the area please discuss with us as the bay is not suitable for mooring boats overnight and the local boat ramp is only suitable for launching and retrieving on limited tides.
- Push Bikes x 2 are provided. Explore the local area or ride to the local shop and have a coffee with the locals.
- Photographer's Mecca. Sunrise, sunset, beach, wetlands, coastal rainforest, coastal savanna, birds and wildlife.
- Bird lovers paradise. The area is rich in birdlife. Over 30 different species are regularly seen in our garden including the rare Northern Rosella.
- Top End Native Plants. Our main gardens consist of only Australian Native Plants and host over 40 different varieties of Top End Native Plants. Many more unique Top End plants can be found in the surrounding area.
- Cox Peninsula Club. Is a 5 minute walk away. Get details of opening hours and which nights food is available.
- Sport. 2km from the B&B is the council sports grounds which have a range of court surfaces including tennis, netball, volleyball.
- Charles Point Road. On both sides of the roads are numerous bush tracks that take you into the wetlands abounding in water birds and large magnetic anthills very old Cycad forests. A World War II Heritage site is well marked and worth a visit. "Milady" an American B24 Bomber came down during a routine exercise. 6 airmen were killed in 1942.
- Aboriginal Heritage. The Larrakia People are the traditional owners of the land and waters of the Darwin and Cox Peninsula areas. The Larrakia people moved about this area to visit cultural important sites. The book "Saltwater People" Larrakia Stories from around Darwin is available for loan during your stay.
